VP of Product

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and thoughtful product leader to help elevate our consumer experience to the next level. The right candidate will be well versed in all aspects of product management for a progressive cloud based business, but also be anchored in an non-digital nontechnical understanding of consumer behavior and user experience as an extension of marketing and brand principles. This person will not only drive execution, but also contribute to the strategic vision for the company. Responsibilities would include all aspects of our web platform, where more than 1 million monthly users interact on the customer side, as well as thousands on the event creation backend. Duties would include overseeing the development of the product roadmap, clear communication of the priorities within it, establishment of best in breed product processes, and driving execution from inception to actualization of all digital initiatives. Paint Nite has a strong technical team and is looking for a VP of Product who can bridge the gap between the technical world of our engineers and the marketing vision around our brand in to bring our value prop to life for our consumers.


  • Expert on Product Planning, Customer Journey, Product Discovery and Product Development
  • Define and communicate the product vision created from company goals to drive growth and, go-to-market strategies to win in targeted customer segments.
  • Create a comprehensive product roadmap and communicate this strategy that will inspire and motivate the entire organization to move in the same direction
  • Responsible for the end to end product life cycle. This includes: identifying customer needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to release, and enhancement phases.
  • Collaborate with key business and engineering stakeholders in order to identify and prioritize product capabilities and gaps.
  • Proven ability to develop, motivate and lead a team of product managers and designers to execute consistently, rapidly and effectively.
  • Develop a strong product culture of innovation, rapid testing and continuous learning.
  • Ensure direct interaction of the product team with customers, licensees, and internal departments including Marketing, to deeply understand customer needs to achieve the market and growth goals of the company
  • Report directly to the CEO and act as a key member of the extended leadership team


  • Minimum of 15 years of directly related work experience. 10 years of this work experience should be in senior product management/marketing/ sales/ product development leadership roles.
  • Must be able to lead in ambiguity and fast-paced change—can set clear direction and make decisions in ambiguous situations in a matrix organizational structure.
